Noemi Galavotti combines her expertise in linguistic mediation and opera set design to conceive an idiosyncratic approach to visual art. Empathy and mediation are the core concepts she uses to construct art that lives from the canvas versus simply upon it. She utilizes a variety of materials to create works that wrangle with what every living thing must: confluence, tension, and accord. Galavotti has exhibited her works nationally and abroad. She lives in Zurich, Switzerland.
